The Jill Townsend Big Band returns to the Cellar on Sunday January 8th, 2012! Join the fabulous 17-piece big band and their outstanding soloists as they perform beautifully crafted compositions and arrangements. The Cellar Jazz Club has gift certificates! JTBB makes an excellent "night out" as a Christmas gift for your favourite jazz fan, and the new menu at the Cellar is delectable! As always, our CD's and cookbooks will be available for purchase at the performance. Be sure to reserve early as this event sells out regularly! has maintained an active performance schedule including concerts with
international guest artists, jazz festival performances, ongoing
engagements at the Cellar Jazz Club, a critically acclaimed CD, two
nominations for “Big Band of the Year” in the National Jazz Awards, and
the prestigious invitation to represent Canada at the 2007 IAJE
Conference.
